There may be a page maker viewer on Adobe's site somewhere - similar to Access, PowerPoint viewers that let you look at the file but not change it. That way you can at least (gulp) recreate the document in word.
Otherwise a local school/university may have a lab with Page Maker and they may let you open the file and save it to a more usable format like pdf.

Check out some options how p65 files might be converted to doc format. Nowadays, the only viable way for converting olde r Adobe PageMaker documents (. P65,.pmd) to Microsoft Word formats (.
Doc,.docx) would be to export the files to PDF format in the original PageMaker and then via any of the available conversion solution, or simply opening it in latest Microsoft Word. Unfortunately, PageMaker files are notoriously not supported in any other similar programs, so using the original program is likely the only choice for the p65 to doc conversion.
